What lunao tries to find
lunao scans public website content and prioritizes pages that are useful for customer questions. This can include the homepage, navigation links, footer links, sitemap URLs, policies, FAQs, contact pages, product pages, category pages, and public catalog metadata.
- Homepage and important navigation pages
- FAQ, help, contact, delivery, returns, privacy, and terms pages
- Product and category pages
- JSON-LD, OpenGraph, Shopify public catalog data, and WooCommerce public signals when available
What can fail
Scanning depends on what the website publicly exposes. Some websites block crawlers, hide product data behind scripts, require login, or use custom structures that need manual review.
- Login-only content
- Blocked or private pages
- Client-rendered catalogs without crawlable markup
- Conflicting or outdated source pages
- Sites with restrictive robots or firewall behavior
Important caveat: Do not claim universal crawler compatibility. Use the scan results and source review to decide what is ready.
Private data boundary
Website scanning is not authenticated access. It should not be described as order lookup, customer account access, refund execution, or private system integration.
